SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER

The Social Community Manager will work directly with the Social Media team to distribute content and manage communities for designated theatrical campaigns on behalf of film studio clients.

This position is a full-time freelance position with an opportunity to become permanent.

Responsibilities will include:

• Creating and writing content calendars that follow an established voice and strategy
• Publishing and writing daily content to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other channels as needed
• Collaborate with creative team in the production of assets required for the channels
• Respond to comments, tweets, posts, etc. across all social channels
• Look for opportunities for real-time content creation
• Report on the growth and engagement of communities as determined by the client
• Brainstorm concepts and help devise social strategy for new business pitches

Preferred experience:

• Must know the difference between "there" and "their"
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Copywriting experience a plus and/or strong creative writing skills
• Passion for pop culture, movies, and TV shows
• Bachelor's in marketing or communications a plus
• Experience with social CMS and/or analytics tools a plus

W/DG is seeking a self-motivated problem solver who is exceptionally organized and friendly. This person should understand the nuts and bolts of web design, social platforms, social content, digital ads, programming and delivering quality products.

We are looking for someone that will manage large-scale, interactive projects and social campaigns through the life-cycle of the project. This person will be working independently, as well as collaboratively, with the design team, developers and in-house producers. Our projects range from websites, banners, micro-sites, social campaigns cross-platform, and mobile apps. Watson DG is a creative agency with a big presence and a small staff. You’ll wear many hats and have the ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

COPYWRITER/CONTENT STRATEGIST

We are seeking a Copywriter/Content Strategist to join our Los Angeles creative team.

The ideal candidate is capable of coming up with big ideas, creative stunts, social activations, and digital features. We’re looking for a strategist who is not only an excellent writer, but is also resourceful, creative, detail-oriented, deadline-oriented, and can seamlessly transition their writing style to accommodate different audiences and properties.

Past experience in digital and social is a MUST.

Responsibilities:
• Develop concepts and participate in brainstorming sessions for new ideas for digital and social executions
• Develop strategies and clearly communicate/write those ideas in client proposals
• Familiar with social media tactics, including best practices, strategies, and audiences on each platform
• Strategize/write for a variety of social and digital content
• Ensure all content is plagiarism-free and proofread for error-free publishing
• Multi-task on various small-scale projects on a daily basis

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative Writing, Communications, English, Copywriting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of content marketing
• Must have 2-3 years of agency experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong understanding of AP Style

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Developing and executing concepts

This individual will focus high-end video production for web and social platforms. Applicants must show a strong sense or short form video editing, sound mixing, motion graphics, animation, design, a wide range of creative styles, and knowledge of video for the web. The individual must have a passion for visual storytelling, communication, be eager to learn, lead and collaborate with our creative team. This is a full time on-site position.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Expertise in: Adobe Premiere & After Effects. C4D & 3D compositing is a plus.
• Creation of content across a number of projects including but not limited to: video editing, compositing, advanced motion graphics (2D & 3D), sound design, animation, kinetic-typography, color correction, and compression
• Be involved in different phases of development, from conceptualization and storyboarding to animating and editing
• Work with instructional designers to develop and fulfill project objectives

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•Must have demo reel or portfolio
•Bachelor's or Master’s degree is required in either Motion, UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts or other related fields
